Biography

Jeff Benjamin has 20 years of experience in management of commercial nuclear power generating facilities and has a background as a site vice president, vice president of licensing & regulatory affairs, recovery director, and vice president of nuclear oversight. In 1988, he Joined Exelon Nuclear, which has the largest fleet of plants in the U.S. and the third largest in the world. As licensing vice president, Jeff is responsible for regulatory matters affecting the company as well as emergency preparedness and environmental functions. He was responsible for Exelon's security response following September 11, and has testified before Congress numerous times on security issues. Jeff has served as a member of the board of trustees for the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, Southern New Jersey Council, and the Board of Directors, Easter Seals, DuPage County, Illinois. He has also served as United Way Chair for Exelon. In addition, he sits on the advisory boards for the Nuclear Engineering programs at Oregon State University, Georgia Tech, and Ohio State.
